| | Greetings everyone,
This month my heart is saddened by the aftermath of hurricane Katrina. As you know, many people have been displaced from their homes and have lost everything. However, I am pleased to see that individuals in communities around the country, and particularly here in Houston, are pitching in to make a difference in these people’s lives. Personally, I have been collecting items and donating them to a few displaced families. But I plan to do much more.
For the next several months, I will provide free family portraits to victims of Katrina. Family photographs are valuable treasures that cannot be replaced. I know that these families have lost their precious photo albums and wall portraits. And while I can never replace these pictures, I would like to help them rebuild their family heirlooms with a new family portrait.
If you know anyone who would like to receive a family portrait, send me their information or have them contact me. While I would like to provide portraits for everyone, I will only be able to accommodate people as my schedule allows. But I will provide portraits to as many families as I physically can. They will need a driver’s license or some official ID card from Louisiana, Alabama, or Mississippi.
By the way, my new website is online. Check it out at www.goodallphotography.com. I still have a few adjustments to make, but those will be complete by the end of the month. I’d appreciate it if you would click on the contact us link http://www.goodallphotography.com/Mailing%20List%20Registration.htm and fill out the form so that I can make sure that I have your current information. Let me know what you think abut the site and what I can do to make it easier for you to use.
September Special: Bring $25 worth of hurricane relief items (gift cards, non-perishable food items, personal hygiene supplies, toys, new clothing, etc) to your portrait session and I will waive the session fee. Offer ends 9/30/05.
Note: If you wish to not participate in this monthly forum, please send a message to goodallphoto@gmail.com and type “Remove” in the subject line or simply reply to this message. |
